Rabbi Jerid is a rabbi and chaplain offering inclusive, thoughtful care during life’s meaningful moments. His work is grounded in Jewish tradition and shaped by humanistic and interreligious practice, with a focus on listening deeply, honoring difference, and meeting people where they are.
He works with individuals, couples, and families of many backgrounds—Jewish and non-Jewish, interfaith, secular, religious, and questioning—creating space for reflection, connection, and meaning without pressure or expectation.
At the center of this work is relationship.
Whether preparing for a wedding, marking a coming-of-age, honoring a life that has ended, or offering pastoral presence during a difficult season, I approach each encounter with care, curiosity, and respect.
There is no single script or model. Ceremonies and conversations are shaped collaboratively, drawing from tradition, values, personal story, and the needs of the moment. The goal is not to impose meaning, but to help uncover what already matters.
My work is informed by rabbinical training, interreligious education, and chaplaincy practice. I bring a deep respect for Jewish wisdom alongside a commitment to human dignity, inclusion, and ethical clarity.
My interreligious background supports work across difference and belief, while my humanistic grounding centers responsibility, relationship, and presence. Together, these inform a practice that is both rooted and open.
